You can set a default language for your reminders (SMS & email) and client portals in your Language Settings section of your Settings page.

OkaySend currently supports 9 languages out-of-the-box, including English, Français, Español, Deutsch, Русский, Português, 日本語, Bahasa, and Magyar.

How do I set a preferred language?

No. At the moment, multilingual support applies only to client-facing portals, emails, SMS, and notifications. The internal team interface remains in English.

Do team members also get the interface in their own language?

Yes. All client notifications and reminders sent via SMS and email automatically use the selected language. You can also customize the text to adjust our auto-translations to fit your business needs.

Are SMS and email notifications also translated?

No. Multilingual support is included in all paid plans at no additional cost.

Does multilingual support cost extra?

System-generated labels and instructions will reflect the user’s language, and custom content remains exactly as you create it.

It's important to note that client portals and reusable templates all support multilingual text and labels but will NOT auto-translate the questions.

What's translated?

Absolutely. You can override any auto-translation and customize the text to match your brand tone. You can also fully edit messages for languages or use cases we don’t natively support.

Can I customize translations?
