Item-level rejections let you decline answers or responses to a specific question or field without rejecting the entire submission. This way, you can request revisions only for the items that need fixing.

For uploaded files and documents, you can reject and request a redo for individual files within the question or the uploaded block.

This helps you track any changes and keeps everything organized in one place, easy to follow.

What is item-level rejection?

You simply review each uploaded file or response, approve what’s correct, and reject only the items that require changes. The client is automatically notified and can resubmit the corrected version.

Rejected items are clearly labeled until the client resubmits a corrected version, ensuring full clarity and traceability.

Additionally, you can leave a clarifying comment directly in the client portal linked to the rejected item so clients know exactly what needs revision.

How does item-level rejection work?

Absolutely. You can approve correct items with one click while marking only problematic files or answers for correction or redo.

Can I approve some items and reject others at the same time?

Yes. Clients receive an instant notification prompting them to review and update their response. They can easily follow the link in the email to see which item was rejected and why.

Will my clients be notified when I reject an item?

Because. Also, it keeps things simple and clients happy who are probably busy or clueless to what actually needs updating otherwise.

It saves everybody time, improves accuracy, and reduces frustration for clients. Instead of starting over, clients only fix what’s incorrect.

Why should I use item-level rejection instead of rejecting the entire submission?

Yes. Every action from approval and rejection to adding a comment, is tracked in the audit log for compliance and record keeping.
