Host client portals on your own domain

You can manage all domain settings related to an account in the Domains section on the Settings page. Here, you can add your custom domain and create the DNS records to connect it for branded links. This domain will then be used to generate links and will display in your clients' browser address bar.

You can use your main (apex) domain (e.g. company.com) or a subdomain (e.g. portal.company.com).

To enable the ability to use a subdomain, you need to add and verify a CNAME DNS record. Similarly, to use your apex domain (main domain), you need to add and verify an A record pointing to our IPs.

SSL certificates (green padlock) are automatically provisioned by us for all custom domains and no manual setup is required.

You can connect multiple subdomains (for example, clients.yourdomain.com or docs.yourdomain.com) under the same account but may only use one domain at a time to generate links and host client portals.

Once DNS settings are updated, most domains activate within a few minutes to an hour, depending on propagation time.
